Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, and security requirements
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Implement defect tracking and reporting systems using JIRA and Confluence
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in QA roles with 2+ years in leadership positions
- Expertise in automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
