Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous quality monitoring
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders for feedback
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on web/mobile applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and QA lifecycle management
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
