Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools to enhance testing efficiency
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution
- Establish and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality-first culture across the organization
- Drive test strategy improvements through innovative approaches and industry best practices
- Validate API and database integrity through comprehensive testing methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with proven track record in software testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in sprint-based QA processes
- Proficiency in SQL, REST API testing, and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (TestRail, Xray)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA methodologies preferred
