Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate QA best practices into the SDLC.
- Execute complex end-to-end testing scenarios to identify critical performance bottlenecks.
- Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative strategies.
- Mentor junior QA engineers to foster a culture of quality-first development.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document detailed bug reports and track resolution statuses using Jira.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing automation.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test scripting.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test code.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest-Assured.
