Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing, performance testing, and regression analysis for complex distributed systems.
- Collaborate closely with Developers and Product Managers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production issues and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for quality best practices across the engineering department.
- Manage CI/CD integration pipelines to ensure seamless automated testing throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
- Proven ability to identify edge cases and drive quality-first engineering culture.
