Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define comprehensive test plans, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Execute complex integration and regression testing across distributed cloud-based architectures.
- Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Advocate for quality-first development practices by participating in code reviews and architectural design sessions.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment cycles.
- Mentor junior QA engineers to foster a culture of quality engineering across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation (SQL).
- Deep understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Proven ability to work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
