Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential user experience issues
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document test cases, defects, and quality reports using industry-standard tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for testing methodologies
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with 2+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database testing techniques
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
