Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications.
- Design and implement robust automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Selenium, Cypress).
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure testability of features.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, maintainability, and quality implications.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies, tools, and trends to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, with a focus on web and/or mobile applications.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test solutions using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter) and performance testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
