Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Python to achieve 85% test coverage
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins for automated test execution
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and drive preventive actions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing tools
- Manage defect lifecycle in JIRA with 24-hour SLA for critical bugs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA with 2+ years in technical leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and test data management
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology
- Experience with fintech/financial systems security standards (PCI-DSS)
- Proficiency in API testing with Postman/RestAssured
- Demonstrable history of reducing production defects by 40%+
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
