Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD integration
- Implement risk-based testing methodologies for complex financial systems
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality governance standards
- Drive continuous improvement through test metrics and defect trend analysis
- Validate compliance with PCI DSS and ISO 27001 security standards
- Champion shift-left testing practices across the SDLC
Qualifications
- 8+ years of QA experience with 3+ in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation (Selenium, Appium, JMeter) and scripting (Python/Java)
- Strong background in API testing (REST/SOAP) and database validation
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification
- Proven experience implementing defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
