Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test cases using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead QA initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring sprint quality gates are met
- Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA while driving root cause analysis
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Champion quality metrics and reporting to inform engineering decisions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience with SaaS or enterprise software products
- Expert proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) and security testing basics
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize complex requirements
- Certification (e.g., ISTQB) or equivalent professional development
