Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, performance, and security requirements
- Automate testing workflows using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and maintain detailed test documentation
- Conduct exploratory testing and root cause analysis for complex product issues
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Implement continuous integration testing strategies to accelerate release cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development environments
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in API testing with Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and SQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
