Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Develop test cases from technical specifications and user stories
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality best practices
- Analyze test data to drive process improvements and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) testing environments
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in SQL database testing and performance analysis
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
