Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead QA processes in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot complex issues and implement preventive measures
- Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices across teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and test case management tools
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar are highly desirable
