Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define comprehensive test strategies for new features.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and implement preventative measures.
- Architect, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, high-quality deployment cycles.
- Lead QA best practice initiatives across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases that automated scripts might overlook.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on test automation methodologies and coding standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Strong background in designing test frameworks from scratch (e.g., Cypress, Jest, or Appium).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database testing.
- Proven track record of success in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
