Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Execute complex integration, performance, and regression testing protocols.
- Perform thorough root-cause analysis on system defects and oversee resolution lifecycles.
- Mentor junior QA staff on best practices, code reviews, and testing methodology.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment cycles.
- Advocate for quality-first engineering practices throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in automated software testing.
- Expertise in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience working within cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.
