Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks
- Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect lifecycle management
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Analyze test metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance product quality
- Champion QA best practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Lead quality initiatives for Agile/Scrum development cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software QA and test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL, API testing (Postman), and performance testing tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
