Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and custom frameworks to accelerate release cycles
- Execute exploratory testing and root cause analysis to identify critical defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document test cases, procedures, and quality standards using JIRA and Confluence
- Champion CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing and deployment
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC with proven expertise in test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java) and testing tools (Selenium, Appium, Postman)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and SQL database testing
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+ in previous roles
