Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes in JIRA and maintain traceability matrices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Validate API and database integrity using Postman and SQL queries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credential
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
