Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-performance, scalable automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks.
- Perform comprehensive manual and exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Champion 'Shift Left' testing strategies to improve software quality and reduce deployment risks.
- Analyze production logs and bug reports to perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to our growing internal engineering culture.
- Develop and execute load, stress, and security testing protocols to ensure system resilience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI).
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Insomnia.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
