Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead test automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and establish quality gates
- Execute exploratory testing and create detailed defect reports with actionable insights
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test cases and quality metrics
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and quality metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality-first engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expert proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Experience in B2B SaaS product testing environments
