NexusPath Systems is seeking a visionary Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our elite Engineering Excellence team in Austin. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Lead the 'Shift-Left' initiative by integrating automated tests early in the SDLC to identify critical issues before production.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders to define comprehensive test strategies for complex microservices architectures.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and conduct rigorous load testing using tools like JMeter or k6.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) to ensure rapid, high-confidence deployment cycles.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize automated testing best practices across the organization.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and implement preventative automated regression suites.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering with a heavy focus on Automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or TypeScript).
- Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Extensive experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Solid grasp of SQL and experience testing data integrity in relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical quality metrics into business value.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
