As a key player in our agile environment, you will drive the evolution of our automated testing frameworks, ensuring our cloud-native platforms maintain the highest standards of reliability and performance.

You will collaborate directly with DevOps and Backend Engineering teams to integrate seamless quality gates into our CI/CD pipelines. If you are passionate about 'Shift-Left' testing and believe that quality is a shared responsibility, NexusPath is your next home.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Lead the 'Shift-Left' initiative by integrating automated tests early in the SDLC to identify critical issues before production.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders to define comprehensive test strategies for complex microservices architectures.
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and conduct rigorous load testing using tools like JMeter or k6.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) to ensure rapid, high-confidence deployment cycles.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize automated testing best practices across the organization.
  • Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and implement preventative automated regression suites.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering with a heavy focus on Automation.
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or TypeScript).
  • Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
