Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring 100% coverage of critical user paths.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce regression testing time by 50%.
- Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira using clear, actionable steps; communicate effectively with developers to resolve issues.
- Conduct load testing and performance analysis using tools like JMeter to ensure system scalability under high traffic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to define quality criteria and sprint goals.
- Stay abreast of emerging testing technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including 2+ years of strong experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Expertise in testing RESTful APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data validation and complex queries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for user experience.
