Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Champion quality initiatives through Agile methodologies and continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process enhancements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality standards across teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data validation
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or equivalent preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test cases
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
