Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Execute exploratory testing on complex payment processing workflows
- Develop detailed test plans and maintain defect tracking in JIRA
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and drive preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS or fintech environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Proficiency in SQL and REST API testing
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives in regulated industries
