Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to enhance testing efficiency by 40%
- Champion quality across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and drive systemic improvements
- Mentor QA team members on industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices within engineering workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/SQA with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Proven track record of implementing QA processes in agile/scrum environments
- Strong programming skills in Python/Java/JavaScript for test script development
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Xray) and defect tracking systems
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
