Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test strategies covering functional, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright frameworks
- Execute manual and automated tests across web and mobile platforms
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and severity analysis
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing gates
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices across teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Testing with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and API validation (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools (OWASP ZAP)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
