Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-level automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce manual testing effort.
- Implement and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated testing directly into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) to ensure continuous validation.
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify potential bottlenecks, troubleshoot bugs, and drive root-cause analysis.
- Develop and execute API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for testing within the organization.
- Analyze application performance metrics to ensure system stability and scalability under load.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on Test Automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger, RestAssured) and SQL for database verification.
- Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks like Appium is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
