Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and RestAssured for microservices architecture
- Develop performance testing scripts using JMeter and k6 for 99.99% SLA compliance
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation in Confluence
- Mentor junior QA engineers on CI/CD integration with Jenkins and GitLab
- Champion quality metrics across 15+ agile teams using JIRA and TestRail
- Drive shift-left testing strategies through DevOps collaboration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or SaaS
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for test automation
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Certified Professional Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Appium) and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Demonstrable ability to optimize test coverage by 40%+ in complex environments
- Track record of reducing production bugs by 60% through automation initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven approach to quality metrics
