Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, security, and regression testing
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Integrate testing tools into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality documentation standards
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
- Report metrics on test coverage, defect trends, and release quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, Mocha)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing with Postman or similar tools
- Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) and containerization
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) and security scanning
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
