Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated test suites using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and defect analytics tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best testing practices
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and drive preventive measures
- Champion quality initiatives through continuous process improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in JavaScript/Python and experience with test automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA methodologies preferred
