Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput genomic data analysis pipelines using Python and R.
- Lead the development of machine learning models to predict variant pathogenicity and drug response.
- Collaborate closely with molecular biologists and clinicians to interpret complex genomic data.
- Mentor junior data scientists and bioinformaticians, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international scientific conferences.
- Ensure data security, compliance with HIPAA/GDPR regulations, and reproducibility of results.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing high-throughput sequencing data (RNA-seq, WGS).
- Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of statistical genetics and genome annotation tools (GATK, SAMtools, BWA).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
