Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and identify potential risks early in the SDLC.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with the engineering team to implement permanent fixes.
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability reviews to ensure the product meets high standards of user satisfaction.
- Manage the test environment and data to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database querying.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
