Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly available, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
- Lead the migration of legacy federal applications to modern cloud-native platforms.
- Implement advanced security protocols, ensuring full compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards.
- Optimize cloud consumption patterns to maximize budget efficiency and system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agency teams to integrate DevOps pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
- Provide tier-three technical support and troubleshooting for complex system outages and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior engineers in cloud architecture best practices and secure coding methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
- In-depth understanding of federal cybersecurity compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and Docker.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) in a regulated environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
