Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead performance testing initiatives for cloud-based applications using JMeter and LoadRunner
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and security testing
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes through data-driven insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for test automation
- Strong background in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman and SoapUI
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proven track record of reducing defect leakage by 40% in previous roles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
