Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and REST Assured for microservice architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated test execution
- Execute performance testing using JMeter and k6 to identify bottlenecks
- Define test strategies and metrics for cloud-native SaaS applications
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion test-driven development (TDD) and shift-left quality principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or high-complexity domains
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with behavior-driven development using Cucumber or SpecFlow
- Proven track record of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
- Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis of complex system issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
