Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman or RestAssured to validate backend microservices.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability under high-traffic conditions.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best practices in software testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven track record of building and scaling automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database validation testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on rapid iteration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
