Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins/GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Lead architectural reviews of test scripts to ensure maintainability, scalability, and high performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers in an Agile environment to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on complex production issues and implement preventive automated checks.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and evangelize quality-first mindsets across the entire engineering organization.
- Optimize API testing strategies using tools like Postman and RestAssured to ensure backend stability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience testing complex database-driven applications.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
