Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Execute manual and automated regression testing to ensure product stability across all platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to define test strategies and identify edge cases early in the SDLC.
- Analyze defect reports, troubleshoot issues, and work with the engineering team to implement permanent fixes.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous validation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in QA, automation, and performance testing to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in Automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep knowledge of web testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience with database testing (SQL) and understanding of HTTP protocols.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA, Trello).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
