You will be responsible for driving the quality of our software products through the implementation of advanced automated testing strategies. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to cover web and mobile applications.
- Develop and execute API tests using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate to ensure backend reliability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous feedback.
- Analyze application performance and conduct load testing to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA with high severity and priority.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database concepts (SQL).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an iterative development environment.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
