Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and RestAssured for microservices architecture
- Develop performance testing scripts using JMeter and k6 for 99.9% SLA compliance
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and security testing
- Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion quality metrics and reporting using JIRA and TestRail dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA automation experience with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation development
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing techniques
- Demonstrated experience mentoring QA engineers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
