Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our elite engineering team in the heart of London. At Apex Innovations, we are committed to delivering world-class software solutions that drive digital transformation for our global clients.
In this role, you will own the quality assurance strategy for our flagship SaaS product. You will move beyond traditional manual testing, architecting robust automated frameworks that integrate seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines.
What you will do:
As a pivotal part of our agile squad, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure every release meets our high standards of reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure automated testing runs on every build.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or Gatling to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Analyze test metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing tools into the infrastructure-as-code environment.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for testing methodologies and code reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Expert knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
