Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a robust automation framework using Cypress and Playwright to support both UI and API testing.
- Lead the QA strategy, ensuring high code coverage and implementing best practices for CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and troubleshoot complex bugs.
- Conduct manual exploratory testing for critical user journeys and edge cases.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to foster a culture of quality within the team.
- Define and track key Quality Assurance metrics (e.g., defect leakage, test pass rate) to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Cypress, and/or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and RESTful APIs for backend testing.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
