Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable, robust automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers using Playwright and Java.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including regression, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) to facilitate continuous delivery and rapid feedback.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis for complex defects and identify systemic quality bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to refine acceptance criteria and ensure testability during the design phase.
- Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices, code review standards, and advanced testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy emphasis on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript).
- Proven track record building frameworks from scratch using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong experience with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data verification techniques within distributed systems.
- Strong familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
