Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and REST Assured for microservices architecture
- Develop performance and load testing strategies using JMeter and K6
- Drive continuous integration by integrating JUnit, TestNG, and Jenkins pipelines
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience flaws
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across teams
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and SLAs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or SaaS
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for test automation
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA certification
- Experience with SQL for database testing and data validation
- Proven track record of reducing defect leakage by 40% through automation
- Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
