Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Lead the QA strategy, defining metrics for quality and implementing best practices for test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Agile teams to identify risks early in the SDLC and drive defect resolution.
- Integrate automated testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous validation.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to improve overall team quality standards.
- Perform non-functional testing (performance, security, and load testing) to ensure system stability.
- Analyze production metrics and logs to proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with API Testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL databases.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
