Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with precision, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI) to reduce deployment time.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and stability under peak traffic.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews to improve team testing standards.
- Analyze test metrics and metrics dashboards to provide actionable insights for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years specifically in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of SQL and RESTful APIs for data validation and API testing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in a high-velocity DevOps environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
