Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing tools for continuous quality validation
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with Agile methodologies
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices across teams
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability evaluations to enhance user experience
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in SaaS environments
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA lifecycle
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6) and security testing principles
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
