Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Python for web and mobile applications
- Lead CI/CD pipeline integration with automated testing suites (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, security, and performance testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation
- Analyze test metrics to drive quality improvements and reduce defect leakage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve critical vulnerabilities
- Conduct exploratory testing in agile sprints to ensure comprehensive coverage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and test management platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualification
- Experience with security testing methodologies and vulnerability assessment tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test cases
- Proven track record of reducing production defects by 40%+ through automation
