Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress for web applications
- Lead API testing initiatives using Postman and REST Assured for microservices architecture
- Develop performance/load testing scripts with JMeter and k6 for scalability validation
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and security testing
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab for automated test execution
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement in testing practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in Java/Python with object-oriented programming principles
- Proven experience building maintainable automation frameworks from scratch
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing methodologies
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in complex systems
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
